Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/01/2016

Number: 2

Since April, I've consistently had 2-3 Monarchs in my yard.
This lovely lady is taking a respite from laying our fourth generation of Monarch eggs.
The cats are safely grazing on numerous milkweed species
and surviving to adulthood. I have only seen a couple of wasps all summer, and few other predators.
Both events very unusual in N. Texas, for me, anyway.
