Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/06/2016

Number: 4

I think I have a total of 4 and I think 2 are juveniles because they arent quite accurate with the hanging feeders. I had a terrible problem with big black ants this past week and drew heavy chalk lines on the wood post route the ants were using to get to the hanging feeders and so far it seems to be working like a charm as they check out the chalk and wont cross it. I still have a minor "bee" problem but the ants were really awful. My gazebo looks like a crime scene but that is fine with me. It was a very cheap and seems like benign fix. If anyone knows of a reason not to use chalk please post!
