I keep a minimum of 10 milkweed plants as a part of my garden. I also plant other pollinators in my yard that butterflys and bees find yummie. I hope some year to find a monarch has laid eggs on the milkweed. Today I spied my first monarsh od the season. I have a variety of moths, hummingbird moths, yellow tiger swallowtails and other swallowtails daily.
