First sighting of a Monarch on August 11th at 4:53pm in my butterfly garden. On June 22nd I Collected 3 monarch eggs off common milkweed and raised them releasing 2 males and one female on July 16th. No other egg collections made since then. Last year I released 84 monarchs and was busy all summer raising and releasing. I tagged all the late August and September releases. Very sad about this year's encounters.
