Heard first annual cicada today.

Two of the five Blazing Fire we planted this spring are starting to bloom. Hopefully these will draw in Monarchs which have been very rare this year (spotted only three or four so far).

Side Oats Grama planted at same time are also flowering now.

Hops on our patio are producing vigorous secondary growth and buds.
