Saw my 1st Monarch of the year on my butterfly bush, Then she was joined by a male. They took of and flew in formation at great speed over the house and back around, once passing within a foot of my face. One or the other would stop on the butterfly bushes, Caryopteris, Milkweed Blossoms and even False Indigo leaves.Then off they'd go again chasing in formation, sometimes only 2 or 3 inches apart.
