About 11 am, spotted a female monarch laying eggs on common milkweeds growing next to the glass greenhouse behind the scenes at the Virginia Living Museum, Monarch Waystation #299. She nectared on nearby Joe-pye-weed after depositing an egg or two. I didn't verify eggs, only paused long enough to see what she was doing and where, on my way to the main building.
