Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 08/18/2016

Number: 1

I was startled by a Leopard Frog which hopped across our flagstone walk,in the late afternoon. It was only the 2nd frog I saw this year. The drought of the summer months seems over. Heavy rains this week. Pond has water in it again. I watered the meadow beside the flagstone walk. The surface of the flagstone is cool and in the shade, sometimes damp. Artemesia clumps grow wild by the side of the walk. The frog hopped into a hole it found at the foot of the garage.
