A lot of monarchs in SouthRidge Park this morning, mostly nectaring on whorled milkweed. I saw as many as six at one time. It's the biggest concentration I have seen yet this year. A cold front passed last night and winds are West-Northwest at 10-15 mph. I don't think any of them are migrating yet, though.
I also saw two at different times in my backyard.
