Back on August 6th we noticed an influx of Hummers with massive and sometimes brutal attacks. Often we watched as 3 little beauties would be chasing a lone Titmouse or Cardinal completely out of sight. Now we are viewing the more personal wars as they spar for a feeder. One girl has claimed one on the east side and perches in a Willow to keep it all to herself. October 3 years ago, I caught this mature male scratching his head on a twig.
