I saw two monarchs in my yard about 2:30 pm nectaring heavily on buddleia. I confirmed one was a male. Unsure about the other, it was too skittish to get close enough. This is the most I have seen in my yard at any one time this summer. Point Pelee reported 60 monarchs roosting at the tip last night (8/21/16).
