We have lots of milkweed and finally, finally, a Monarch came on Aug.10 and was laying eggs. The same one has been here almost every day since..she's pretty tatty but was still laying eggs. We have collected close to 40 eggs and tiny caterpillars and they have gone to the Butterfly Lady, Lisa Proulx, who will look after them through their cycles. Very exciting, as we had none last year!!
