I released a male and female about 5pm this afternoon. It is windy today so I kept them inside as long as I could. l released them onto branches in my Nannyberry trees. They sat there a while and then took to the air just gliding along. I think their wings were stronger because I kept them inside longer. Now I'm 0 chrysalis and two getting ready to J-hook. Yesterday I pulled a small milkweed our of the lawn and then I looked at it and there were two eggs on it. Guess, I'm starting all over again. I'm told these two will be at the end of the migration season but they do have a chance, especially if we have favorable fall weather.
