Both male and female. Males seem to be chasing females away from feeders and flowers. Have been filling two feeders once a day. Glued cut off straws into the holes in the feeders to keep bees away. We have lots of yellow jackets this year. The most hummingbirds we have ever had. We have 4 different types that we can tell. Lots of males.
