Week of August 22 - 28, three monarchs in yards with milk weed. Two moe than saw last year.
[Growing up here in Kansas City in the 60's and 70's, used to be milkweed and wildflowers in public spaces and everywhere on neighborhood fences. Watching the caterpillars cocoon and then the monarchs emerge was so common, its amazing moving back here three years ago seeing even a single monarch is an event. Cheers to all planting milkweed, and creating habitat anew.
