Finally some action at Erieau! My records from last year show egg laying steady throughout the summer, but very few finds in 2016 until yesterday. Hot and Dry conditions here resulted in milkweed plants dying early on the beach areas. Frequent evidence that eggs hatched, (crescent shaped small hole in the leaf) but too many predators present. Have not seen any large cats this year.
