The hummingbird migration is on! Dozens became hundreds. Hundreds became thousands. We presently have 186 ounces of nectar out in 8 feeders and are filling more than half of them daily. We also have large numbers of Turk's Cap, Tropical Honeysuckle, and Rose of Sharon in full bloom, all of which are seeing an incredible amount of traffic.

These birds seem to have no fear of us, often hovering within a few inches of our faces while we sit with coffee on our back or front porch.
