Observed two hummingbirds simultaneously in the backyard. They were checking out flowers on Swamp Milkweed and Trumpet Creeper plants, but I did not observe any feeding activity. Not feeding at this time perhaps because I was in close proximity to them. These two birds are likely part of a family of hummingbirds that has been residing in the immediate area all summer, and which are evident almost every day nectaring in the backyard. I assume they are Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
