Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/23/2016

Number: 3

I don't think my report is unusual here in coastal southern CA.
We seem to have hummers year round.
They have become more persistent lately, but I have penstemons and other types of flowers that hummers love.
But the plant is in between open blooms right now, so I finally gave in and put up their feeder.
The problem right now for us is ants. Hordes of ant. No matter what I try to keep them off the feeder, the ants still find a way to it.
