We have both males and females fighting to access our two home feeders - tried telling them that there are 8 perches to use, but the just don't listen. They are all very vocal and obviously bulking up for their journey. School begins next week in our area, and that's right about the time most of them leave each year. I'm always sad to have them go and by April begin wishing for their return!
