This sighting is at the same location (i.e., the nursing care facility where my Mother resides in Bellefonte, PA) as the report I filed on 8/17/2016. As was the case that day, a Monarch butterfly was circling about the facility's garden and feeding from the flowers of a purple Buddleia bush. I wasn't able to get close enough to determine its gender or to get more than the grainy photo attached. After about 20 minutes it then headed away toward the southwest under mostly sunny skies about 1:40 PM. I doubt this was the same butterfly as the one we saw and reported on the 17th (http://www.learner.org/jnorth/maps/record_monarch_fall_all.html?record_id=1464667199).
