Three hummers (2 females and an immature male) are constant visitors at both of our feeders and on the flowers. We have noticed one female that likes to perch on a nearby branch and fiercely guard the feeder. She also loves a large purple salvia where she feeds often. In the early morning hours all three announce their arrival with a series of small squeaks.
