Number sited is an approximate guess. The hummingbirds are so very active from dawn to dusk that it is impossible to make an accurate count. I have observed them nectaring from wild touch-me-not (jewelweed) flowers,and from my own mandevillas,streptocarpellas, re-blooming azaleas. They particularly like to visit the touch-me-nots and the streptocarpellas.
