Signs of Fall

Date: 08/25/2016

Number: 1

This report just in from Ron Melchiore, living remotely on Hockley Lake in the boreal forest of northern Saskatchewan:
"Alas, summer is winding down. The first southbound geese went by today.

I hope your summer went well. Ours was cooler and wetter than normal. Last summer, in 16 years, we never had so much beach because it was so dry, and this year, we never saw the lake so high. Feast or famine. Our dock was almost under water. "
