Just returned from two weeks away, so looking for activity now. So happy to have spotted one chrysalis and one caterpillar so far. Late yesterday observed a number of adults appearing to be laying eggs. So many milkweeds it's hard to spot where. My neighbors have been seeing monarchs on their butterfly bushes. This year's visitors seem to have arrived later than other years. Hoping we hatch at least a couple butterflies that make their way back to Mexico.
