Saw two hummingbirds nectaring in our yard today.
Very young looking. I haven't seen any that looked that young before. Of course they could be females too as you said.
We have large patches of Zinnias in our yard back and front and a few penstemon in their second flowering this year. The hummingbirds love the Zinnias.
