Found a caterpillar on the north side of our house, attached to our brick siding, in the 'J' position ready to pupate. 90 minutes later it had become a chrysalis. It was a surprise to me to find the cat at this spot, as the nearest milkweed is a patch of sandvine growing on our neighbor's bushes about 60 feet away (20 paces). As soon as it hardens I will bring it in for safekeeping.
