I have had a young female calliope hummingbird living in my yard now for a month. I see her daily, throughout the day in both the front and back yards. My neighborhood is fairly new and we generally don't see hummers hanging around...they prefer the older areas with established trees and shrubs. I saw her this morning out front. feeding on the trumpet vine, Zauschneria (I have 3 varieties), Penstemon and Agastache. I just learned of this reporting site today and will make an effort to report regularly.
