Clear sunny (80 degrees) morning after cloudy and drizzle yesterday. Light wind from SE at 5.8 mph.

In a 2 hr. period, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., we counted 15 stopping to nectar in the garden particularly on Mexican sunflower, vervain, buddliea, and Joe Pye weed.

then clearly flying S/SW.


By far the most of I've seen all season, 4X increase over past week's a.m. count.
