My husband and I were eating breakfast on our backyard patio this morning. We observed a Monarch butterfly fly over our fence on the northern side of our yard, fly across the width of the yard, and depart over the fence on the south side. I could still see the Monarch as it flew though the backyard of our neighbor's house which is on the south side of our home.
