My wife and I tagged our last 23 butterflies of the season today. We tagged 80 total out of this field on three separate days this week. They were all nectaring on purple clover. We also tagged 20 in the school prairie that is only two blocks away. 74 males and 26 females. This field will probably continue to support migrating monarchs through the rest of September.
