My wife and I spent a week in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. We observed no Monarch Butterflies. last year at the same time period we saw many butterflies including the Monarch. This trip we observed the yellow swallowtail and the black swallowtail. But Zero Monarchs.
It was very hot and dry in Myrtle Beach August 2106.
