Throughout the day, I observed numerous monarchs nectaring intently in my garden together, as well as many flying in a southwesterly direction. I still have a territorial male in my garden(patroling the garden and chasing other butterflies) While checking my garden for monarchs to tag, I discovered a mated pair consisting of a wild male and one of my home reared females in a tree. We are still finding eggs and larvae in various stages, but the egg numbers are decreasing.
