There is a concentration of milkweed plants near my home (but not huge), and any other summer we observe at least a few dozen adult monarchs late in the summer, with many larvae of varying sizes on most of the plants. This summer there have been NO adult OR larvae observed...and I have been trying to find them...I find it very alarming!
