We've collected 48 caterpillars as of today. 34 of them are already in the chrysalis stage. Six have already transformed into Monarchs. This photo is the first two that came out on Sunday. We bring the caterpillars in our screened in porch and then track them as the progress.

We planted a total of 22 milkweed plants -- a combination of -- 1. Butterfly Weed (Asclepias tuberose), 2. Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca), 3. Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnate), and 4. Tropical Milkweed (Asclepius curassavica) and we have planted Torch/Mexican Sunflower (Tithonia), Indian Blanket (Gaillardia pulchella)
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), Scarlet Sage (Salvia coccinea), Zinnia / Dahlia Mix (Zinnia elegans).
