We had a very strong thunderstorm today around 3-4 pm. The hummer's could not feed for 20 mins. so I knew when the rain slacked off they would be hungry. I saw the Adult male Black-Chinned feed several times, the female B.C, several either females or juveniles Ruby-Throated and or B.C. It is difficult for me to tell the difference. I saw young ones start to chase each other but it was not like the adults. Two of them were facing each other & going around & around and up like a dance & a tornado funnel. They were less aggressive than the adults like they were just beginning to learn how to be territorial. They are "nicer" to each other than the adults. I wonder if they are siblings? I wished I could have gotten that on video. The young male is the one that is bold & will always come & check us out hovering about 2-3 ft. in front of us. The male Ruby did not show up today of else I missed him.
