Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/29/2016

Number: 1

Monarch Waystation #271 report: 6:10 pm, when I looked out the front window, saw a ruby throat and eastern tiger swallowtail feeding on Tithonia, the hummer there about 20 seconds. Then it went to tropical milkweed, then Lady in Red Salvia. It was startled by something and flew to the sycamore across the parking lot. @ 6:12 pm, the same ? bird was back at the Tithonia to nectar. It hovered over and looked at the Swallowtail [that was still there lingering a long time on one top blossom] for a few seconds, backed off, flew to the other Tithonia across the yard to nectar, then took off.
