I did not get up before dawn. But at 7:25am the Black-Chinned Adult male fed several times at the feeder. At 7-7:50pm the Ruby-Throated Adult Male tried to sneak in a drink at the Feeder under the tree that the Black-Chinned is guarding & the B.C. chased Ruby away. NOTE-At 4-4:30pm the Juveniles were very active at the Mexican Sunflower bed. I dressed in all black a color that they apparently cannot see. They fed about 12 inches from my face from my head & did not see me. Usually they see me & fly away frighten or afraid of me. I put 2 as the number of the males but in all we had a total of approx. 6 Hummers. Male & female B.C.,1 adult, male R.T.,3 Juveniles a mixture of B.C., & R.T. as difficult to tell them apart without a still pictures so I can compare wing tips, curved or pointed wings, tail lengths in comparison to the wings, & bill length & straight or de-curved.
