2 monarchs were in the yard for 3 days getting nectar from the tropical milkweed.
12 eggs were found on the milkweed on 8/28. The monarch did not lay on leaves that had aphids on the bottom.
I have several tropical milkweed plants clustered together, and a couple "loner" tropical milkweed plants a few yards away. The females preferred the loner plants.I was surprised to find 2 eggs on a couple of plants.
