Many caterpillars for the past 10 days on my milkweed garden beside the house. Counted 10 this morning. Have 2 in chrysalis stage, 2 more nearly there (hanging in the "j") in the house. We are located on an old farm 6 miles west of Purcellville, VA. Lots of butterfly bushes, etc. Very exciting. Will plant more milkweed in the spring. Have the thin-leaved milkweed with the orange flowers and also common milkweed.
