We had a "mini-roost". About 6 Monarchs. Had been seeing at least 1 every day the last week and then noticed this little group gathering in a cottonwood tree and a Black Hills Spruce. I don't remember seeing them do this here before. Have only seen 1 at a time most of the summer. Never found any eggs or larva this year and we have swamp milkweed and domestic varieties in the gardens and pasture.
