One Ruby Throat Female and two probable juveniles. I haven't caught sight of my resident male today--but I might have just missed him....will keep an eye out. He may have begun the long migration...I'll miss him if that is the case.

If this year is like last year the females will be here for another three weeks and then I'll just have juveniles and maybe a female passing through.
Last sighting last year here in Northern VA was in the third week of Oct.

Keep those feeders up, filled and clean Hummingbird fans--they need us. Thank you all for taking care of our feathered friends!
