Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/03/2016

Number: 10

This is from cycling about five miles around the Lake Harriet area, including a couple sightings in our own garden, in other people's gardens, and in public butterfly gardens, all within a short distance of the lake. There were lots of native and other flowers that would attract monarchs. The ones we saw them nectaring on were tithonia and tropical milkweed. We're seeing more than in 2013, but less than in 2014 and 2015.
