On the 27th of August, we had five Monarchs in the back yard gardens and butterfly bush next to the back deck. They were here for two days (27&28th). We have had two for the next days until yesterday, (9/4) and now, one again today. The group of five were definitely passing through, heading south. This was the first year for that large number.
