Saw 1 male monarch butterfly feeding on coneflower in my first year butterfly/bee garden just off of Lake Michigan at approximately 5 PM. Proof positive of "build it and they will come." The area used to be nothing but invasive woodland species and is now supporting many butterflies and other pollinators.
