Sightings report image

Date: 09/04/2016

Number: 1

Even though it's a blurry cellphone picture, I've gotta share this one. Why? Because it's the first time I've caught one of these ladies on the native plants we've put out for them. They visit the feeders, the broccoli and basil flowers, Mexican sunflowers, Tangier pea, tropical milkweed, Lantana, and FINALLY our bee balm. Granted, this is a red monarda, not the really native purple one, but it's the best we can manage at this point.
