A relative who loves monarchs as much as I called me from the Whitefish chain of lakes in the Brainerd area and reported a monarch flying SW crossing Clam Shell Lake which wasn't identified on the map. I did the best to mark its general location. Stiff breeze up there with gusts and then brief lulls.
