Yesterday right before sunset I saw something unusual, I believe, a female hummer whose top of head was a yellowish white. She was feeding from the Vermillionaire and I was able to get a picture. I was wondering if it could have been pollen, or maybe a banders marking. Curious as to what it may be, any suggestions? Has anyone come across a hummer like this?
