6 or maybe 7 hummers today. Adult male ruby throat showed up this evening. I believe this is latest appearance in September in our yard of an adult male hummer. Rest are females or immatures. Lots of feeding on insects and flower blossoms today. Occasional feeding on nectar feeders until late evening when they started to stoke up to roost for the night.
