I grow a beneficial butterfly habitat which includes these species of flowers, Butterfly bush(2) Purple Coneflower's and a new species called Cheyenne Spirit,Black eyed Susan, Delphinium's, Toad Lily's, Phlox, Asiatic and Oriental Lily's, Daylilys, Bee Balm, Spiderwort, and several species of Iris's plus annuals such as Pink Petunias, Zinnia's, Impatiens and Fuchas which I always buy in hanging baskets!
I realize most of these flowers are a food source and I'm going to incorporate host plants next year into my garden and shall start growing some from seed over the winter! Good luck to all and bless our pollinators :) I'd like to add please stop spraying insecticides and pesticides :( look what just happened to ALL the honeybees in South Carolina. Let's all be a solution and not the problem after all it only takes just 1 person to make a difference, so raise our next generation to know the difference and to know better, they are the next to inherit the world :)
